Amazing authentic smoked BBQ, everything was fresh and hot. The coleslaw was homemade, baked beans had chips of meat in them. The fried mushrooms were awesome! Our 7 year old daughter rated it with 5 stars and a thumbs up. Great job!! And it was very clean!!

The brothers are awesome! I love all the fresh homemade sides. They're delicious! The ribs were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. I have to find my way back to this place. The conversation with the brothers were just as good as the food. You guys rock!!!!!

Finally got to eat at Cattlemen's Real Pit Bar-BQ and it was awesome! I had the 1/2 white chicken with baked beans & broccoli & cheese bites. I planned on taking half home, but I couldn’t stop eating. lol They’re located on St John’s Ave next to Dairy Queen.

Food was phenomenal!!!!! Smoked pork sandwich and loaded pork fries hit the spot! The father-son duo definitely know what it takes to make the best barbecue you’ve ever had. They are very down to earth, friendly & relatable people. I guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Highly recommend this place!

The atmosphere is welcoming, the staff is friendly, and the food is nothing short of incredible. We tried the loaded fries, and they were next-level—piled high with tender pulled pork, smothered in melted cheese, and seasoned to perfection. It was a hearty, flavorful dish that perfectly showcased their pit-smoked BBQ. The pulled pork was juicy and delicious, with just the right amount of smokiness. The sides were just as impressive—especially the baked beans and creamy coleslaw. This spot truly nails that real pit BBQ flavor. We give Cattlemen’s Real Pit Bar-B-Q a full 5 stars and can’t wait to come back for more!

I had lunch today with a friend at Cattlemen's Real Pit Bar-BQ, located at 816 St. John’s Avenue in Palatka, right next door to Dairy Queen. We both ordered the Cattlemen's Boss Burger—two cheesy sliders topped with pulled pork and dressed with lettuce, tomato, onion, mayo, and their signature house sauce. The menu features a variety of sandwiches, salads, and rice bowls, along with all your favorite sides: French fries, baked beans, coleslaw, mac and cheese, corn on the cob, fried mushrooms, and corn nuggets. Highly recommend for barbecue lovers looking for hearty portions and great flavor!

This is what this town needs. Fresh cooked, non commercialized bbq with a friendly staff who cares about their customers. The pork sandwich was delicious, the mustard sauce was homemade and not something generic off the shelf. The baked beans were some of the best I've ever had and the Mac and cheese was pretty good too. It was made with spiral pasta, which made it feel creative instead of just regular elbo shells. I will definitely be back and highly recommend people support this local business over the commercial bbq options in town. Some other bbq restaurants could take notes from this place on how easy it was to place a Togo order.
